Do you want to stop or park and don’t know how or where?

The rule states that we have to stop and park  always on the right in the direction of travel.
Except you are in one ways or there are railways on the right side of the road.
Are parking places and hard shoulders available, they have to be used.
If there are not available, you have to stop or park close to right curb.
When parking, you must make sure that you are no more than 30 cm away
from the curb and that your wheels are straight. This (30cm max.) ensures that
your vehicle take up as little space as necessary on the road. Straight tires are
important, as it is easy to drive into them or hit them from others when they are turned.
Greater damage could result.
Leave always enough space that others can get in or out and manouvre their vehicles.
